The Plymouth Avenue Trail is located on the west side of Goshen, in north Indiana. The trail is adjacent to Plymouth Avenue for a mile and a half. The paved trail is anchored by parks on both ends, and provides walking and biking access to Goshen Middle School along the way. Hay Park lies near the trail's west end, a 5-acre park with a pavilion, children's play area and community gardens. Shanklin Park, the crown jewel of Goshen's park system is the trail's east trailhead. At 90 acres, it's the largest park in the city and is perfect for both active and passive recreation. It also hosts two trails: Shanklin-Mullet Trail extends northwest to Mullet Park while the Millrace Canal Trail traces the east edge of the park and stretches 2.75 miles.
The trail is part of the Maple City Greenway system, 30 miles of trails and greenways across Goshen.
Park at Shanklin Park (411 W. Plymouth Avenue).
